45 consists of less than 45 drawings – 22 and counting –
which observe thought through time, showcasing the grand with the lowly, the
absurd with the profound. The centerpiece of the study is #10, a circle rapidly painted over a
7-foot square drawing covered with over ten hours of writing, ten hours that
included shopping lists next to ruminations about the meaning of life. Each drawing is on brown paper, either
gessoed white, black or clear, and drawn only in black and white. They are all the same size.
WHERE/ABOUT
Where/about is the newest study and looks again at place but
from a mapping perspective, mapping not only the roads taken, literally, on a
daily basis but also trails traveled in the virtual/cyber and the spiritual
worlds.To date, the exploration
has wandered down the path of memory, mostly recently through a web of blue
dresses.This piece will include
video, storytelling and a participatory web component.
